The Competitors Story -
before the Race...
Sorry
- The Photo Gallery has now been taken offline - there have been no
posts - so obviously not something that anyone wants ?
Also
it has been infested by Spammers trying to register during the time it has been up
- and more recently by a particular "rascal"
who had found a way of spamming the contact form on the site
- which was wasting a lot of my time clearing the cr*p out every day.
If there was any interest shown I could always put it back online at a later date...
This website has been "hastily"
assembled - with the
aim of trying to capture some of the "unseen" effort of taking
part in
the IOMTT.
The idea is that if you - or one of your "team" are taking photos of
the preparations and practice for the event - and have a few minutes to
post them to this website - then many more people will know what goes
in to making it to the Start Line at the TT.
We also hope it's a "viable" possibilty to get an internet connection
in the Isle of Man during the TT.
I hope a few kind people will allow
us a "glimpse" in to their "Work Areas" during the event - for those
that
can't
make it over for whatever reason - maybe this will help to make up for
it a bit !
We expect (and hope) the majority will be sidecar teams - as they
probably have the most work to do on machines during the event.
(Plus I also know a few - so have a preference !)
The effort required to get to the Start line at the greatest Road Race
in the world are probably only really seen and understood by those
involved & those taking part - hopefully this will help to
increase that understanding

Anyone
that has taken part in a TT will understand what it takes to get to the
start line - there must be many others that do not.
This is an opportunity for competitors to show everyone the ingenuity
& plain hard work that go in to getting there !
(If we don't get many here - it's because they are too busy !)

If there are any other "Links" that would be useful here -
let me know - I'll do my
best to add them....
