The Competitors Story -
before the Race...
Depending on how well supported this site is - we may need to put
in place upload limits if there is higher than anticipated usage - we
will monitor this as closely as possible - we hope it's not necessary.
The "size" of images for a "Gallery" application like this is best kept
fairly small - there is usually no benefit when viewing on a website
like this - to have "large" pictures - if they can be kept around 600 -
800 pixels wide - and jpg format - they will upload real quick - and
the "Gallery" will be much faster - will also take a lot more pictures.
For example - on my own site - I can post around 70 pictures at
800pixels wide and takes about 4 Mb - and gives a reasonably good size
picture for viewing...
You can upload multiple pictures in a "Zip" file - & I will unzip and load in the Gallery - or you can add a few at a time on the Gallery yourself...
If there are any "Glitches" with the Gallery - please bear with us - this is a (very) new site - and as such may need a bit of "fine tuning" to achieve the best results (Thanks in advance for your patience)
Also please note that if you have high Res pictures on memory cards -
keep them - or store them somewhere else - do not rely on the "Gallery"
as a "permanent" storage location.
